Red Birch is the heart wood of yellow birch. This hardwood is the rarest of the domestic hardwoods of the United States and some of the most sought after hardwood flooring in America. The floor will have a reddish brown glow that you will be unable to get in other hardwoods. The Birch trees are grown in the Northeastern parts of the United States and can reach up to 70 ft. tall.
