A-Max Hardwood had the chance and pleasure of going to the Basic Coatings training program for hardwood flooring installation and refinishing courses in Bowling Green, Ohio. The class was 4 days of all sorts of things. We learned to do the following things in the class:
- tinting directly to wood
- tinting on finish
- proper install techniques for the best installation
- proper way to apply finish and ensure proper spread rate
- how to do board repairs by routing
- moisture reading an the major importance for proper job setup and finishing
