Hickory is an American wood that can often be refereed to as heavy as lead, hard as stone and strong as an ox. Hickory with these unique characteristics of durability make it a great hardwood for all types of flooring applications. Hickory flooring can be vary a vast amount from grade to grade as it can go from a dark reddish brown to a pale white color. It can also vary from no knots (clear) to a very knotty look (rustic).
