American Cherry is one of the premier hardwoods of the Americas. Cherry is extremely light sensitive and will darken over time. With the darkening you will see more of the characteristics and distinguishing features. The color ranges from light to dark browns with some light pinks. Cherry is 25% softer than red oak making it a bit on the softer side.
