Brazilian cherry hardwood is a very beautiful and elegant wood. This house really showed off the beauty of the wood and what it has to offer. Brazilian cherry is an interesting wood in that it will start out a light red tint and over the next few months it will become very dark red in tone. Brazilian cherry actually reacts to sunlight! Below are pictures of prior to the refinish and installation:
The floor was very worn from being used for over 10 years and having many renters in the house. The stairs that were initially installed and finished were pretty terribly done in that the coatings were not fluid between the spindles and the step. Another issue was the floor was wavy. The reason for this could be a multitude of things, but the key was it was corrected. You can see the after pictures below of the full house. I personally think this might have been the nicest finish job that was done (Eli laid the finish). The reason this was could be many things, however the wide open spaces really displayed the nice finish sheen and the wood grains. The A-Max team all agreed that the finished floor could not have come out any better. Below are the after pictures:

The reaction from the homeowner made all the work on this 3500 sq. ft. hardwood surface worth it. He was very pleased with the outcome and praised the whole team for their dedication. His wife was also very happy with the outcome and the service we provided. This job took us two work weeks to complete and when you work on something so long its very rewarding to have the customers be so enthusiastic about the finished product.
