This was a smaller maple wood floor done in the outer edges of Meridian, Idaho. The preferred finish was a waterbased product from Bona called “Traffic”. Traffic is one of the top products made by the #1 leading brand in flooring. The product is waterbased and is cured by air over 5-7 days (up to 4 weeks). The finish used was a satin sheen, giving it a very nice look while minimizing scratching and other imperfections that might come along till the floor is refinished again.
The Sanding Process:
- 40 grit belt sand
- vacuum
- 60 grit belt sand
- vacuum
- 80 grit edge
- 100 grit trio
- vacuum
