The end product of this house whose floor was maple looked absolutely flawless. The coating used was SunFinish UV. The advantages of SunFinish UV is that the house is usable the minute we leave, no smell lingering and a fully green product. UV is also one of the most durable products you can put on your hardwood, the reason it is so durable is that it is cured that day not 2-4 weeks later! One last major benefit is that the product will not yellow after UV hits it, the only yellow that will happen is to the wood itself.
Take a look below at the pictures of the finished product. A-Max Hardwood used a satin finish on this floor since satin will hide more dings and such later on in the floors life. The homeowner of this maple floor was ecstatic with the look.
