What a great transformation. This floor is 78 years old and had gone through many home owners. The newest homeowner could not stand the murky look of the 87 year old wax. This wax was so dark and nasty you could hardly see the floor. The homeowner wanted a non-yellowing floor that would last a long time and be able to withstand his future tenants. A-Max Hardwood Chose to use the Basic Coatings NXT floor finish for its superior durability. Basic Coatings Hardwood system is made in America, duable and the fastest drying water based floor finish on the market.
This red and white oak floor came out absolutely marvelous. While it did take a ton of sanding and obviously some aspects of it did not come out perfect due to neglect and age the homeowner absolutely loved the character of this floor. You can see below the look and how the satin gave it a great sheen. Check the pictures below to see the hardwood floor refinish transformation.
