Padco is a great company that truly makes very good products for the flooring industry. I specifically like that Padco is on the cusp of new technologies like UV floor finishes. If you know anything about UV floor finishes (especially for hardwood) you know that they are a different animal than typical water-based finishes. UV finishes build is much different and tend to flash much faster than typical water-based products, leaving a semi-streaky surface.
A-Max Hardwood being at the forefront of UV based finishes contacted Padco after reviewing their nano flock t-bar applicator (located here). Our inquiry was about if possibly a roller applicator would be a better solution for applying UV finishes. Our first goal was to ensure a very even surface and also getting more coating on the floor. The more coating on the floor ensures a much more durable and protected floor. Padco was able to send a one of a kind roller that proved to work wonders!
With this new Nanoflock roller by Padco we were able to really product floors that were thicker in coating, a surface with no flaws and left with an absolutely gorgeous floors! If you do UV finishes I would highly suggest you try the Nano Flock Roller by Padco.
