Another typical wood floor that had been finished with a oil/poly and yellowed a ton over the years, the wood grain was almost invisible and looked dated. The homeowner wanted something more streamlined and modern looking so they decided that UV was a good choice for them. UV offers a clear coating that will not yellow like a oil/poly does once UV hits it. The area refinished was a drastic change and the owners of the house loved every part of the final product and couldn’t have been happier!
Our sanding process is below:
- 40 grit belt sand
- vacuum
- 60 grit trio
- 80 grit edge
- vacuum
- 100 grit edge
- 100 grit trio
- vacuum
