This particular home was bought just a few months prior and the homeowners wanted to have the floors refinished. The floors had obvious aging and scratching from the previous home owner. Walnut is one of the most susceptible hardwoods to denting and dinging due to its soft nature. The sanding procedure used on this floor:
- 60 grit belt sander
- vacuum
- 80 grit edge
- vacuum
- 100 grit trio
- 100 grit edger
- vacuum
- 3 finish coats
The job was on a quick timetable – was finished in 20 hours and took 2 days total. The homeowners were super happy with the look and loved the restored beauty. Allan, Brad and Shay did an extremely good job on this project, great job guys!
